Since 2015, the Donjon de Vez has been home to Relatum X, a work by Korean artist Lee Ufan, following his remarkable exhibition at the Château de Versailles. This sculpture illustrates the dialogue between man, nature and time, by confronting a steel plate, symbol of industrialized society, with a stone, representing nature.

Encounter with nature
Through this confrontation, Lee Ufan explores the dialogue between man and nature. The cold, industrial steel plate contrasts with the rough, timeless stone, emphasizing the opposition between ephemeral and permanent. This duality invites reflection on time, space and the imprint of civilization on the natural world.
A tribute to the simplicity and power of materials
Lee Ufan favors purity, emphasizing the relationship between the elements and the energy they release. The subtle balance of materials creates a serene atmosphere conducive to contemplation.
