The origins of visionary art

Kinetic art and Signals

In 1955, he designed his first Signaux: metal rods topped with flashing bulbs, inspired by nature and radio antennas. Takis also explores electromagnetism, integrating sound and light into his works, as in his Musical Telesculptures of the 1960s.

Science and poetry united

Takis seeks to make the invisible visible, using energy and magnetism to reveal a cosmic truth. His works, such as Ballets magnétiques, blend poetry and science, redefining the boundaries of contemporary art.
