Pascal Cribier
An atypical career
Pascal Cribier’s youth was marked by indiscipline and multiple passions, such as motor racing and design. After experience in photography and a brief career in karting, he turned to the visual arts and architecture. In 1972, he undertook the development of the Bois de Morville in Varengeville-sur-Mer, a seminal project that revealed his talent for sublimating natural landscapes.

Pascal Cribier
The art of the living garden
Pascal Cribier’s style is both respectful of André Le Nôtre’s heritage and resolutely innovative. He favored a sensitive approach to gardening, in which listening to public and private clients played a central role.
An international reputation
His collaboration with Louis Benech in 1990 on the renovation of the Tuileries catapulted him to the forefront of the art scene. This monumental project established his reputation and earned him invitations to lecture all over the world. A teacher and lecturer, he has had a lasting influence on the contemporary landscape.
