The Pays de Valois Greenway

Greenway of the Pays de Valois

Since 2017, the 18 km Voie verte du Pays de Valois between Ormoy-Villers and Mareuil-sur-Ourcq has offered an ideal setting for safe walks. Pedestrians, cyclists and rollerbladers enjoy a 3-meter-wide asphalt path, while horse riders take a parallel path on natural ground.

Following this itinerary also means plunging into history: old rails still visible, gatekeepers’ houses that have become homes, rehabilitated stations at Boissy-Lévignen, Betz and Antilly… Not forgetting the brick vaults and ditches that bear witness to the line’s rich railway past.
